Make these simple, yummy and healty granola popsicles for breakfast to kickstart your day. High on protein and low on calories. What’s not to like?
I made these popsicles as a fun breakfast alternative. My son, Storm, loves to grab one on his way to school.
And – they are just as enjoyable as a healthy lunch snack or as a reward after work out – or just to enjoy with your favorite series… A not so guilty pleasure!
Yoghurt – about 80 g per pop (I’v used wild strawberries for the pink one and coconut for the white one)
Your favorite granola – 1 tbsp per pop (with or whitout gluten – I’ve used my favorite from Renée Voltaire)
Honey or agave nectar (just a small trickle)
Fruit & berries – I used banana, kiwi, raspberries and blueberries (cut and shape for fun )
Put some of the granola in the bottom of your molds with a tricle of honey or agave.
Fill with yoghurt and berries and top whit more granola and honey.
You can also mix everything together – but I think the granola popsicles lookes better this way.
Pop in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
The granola popsicles are best if you take them out of the freezer and removes them from the molds 15-20 minutes before you eat them. Maybe before you hit the shower? That is really – if you can wait…
