I love the simple taste of Summer that strawberries always give me.Maybe it’s because I’m living in a cold country?
In these strawberry popsicles I’ve mixed these delicious red berries with a good vanilla yoghurt and agave nectar for extra sweetness. A healthy and protein rich Popsicle all the members of my family loves.
I served my strawberry popsicles with extra strawberries drizzled with white chocolate. Very easy – and immensely popular. Enjoy!
7oz/ 200 g of fresh strawberries (if you can’t find fresh ones – use frozen)
1 tbsp. agave nectar (my strawberries were really sweet – but taste your strawberry mix and add more agave if you want to)
14oz/ 400 g Greek vanilla yoghurt
6 popsicle molds
Mix strawberries and agave nectar, but don’t squish your strawberries. It’s yummy to have chunks of berries inside your popsicles!
Next, mix your strawberries with the vanilla yoghurt – as little or as much as you like – depending on how you want your popsicles to look. Mix well – and you get beautiful pink popsicles. Blend carefully – and you get pretty swirls. You can also do layers.
Fill your molds with your preferred strawberry mix and freeze for at least 4 hours.
To get your strawberry popsicles out of the plastic molds, run your molds under hot water. Try to let the hot water hit them from different angles. Sometimes it’s easy – sometimes it’s hard.
Don’t give up!
